The 4 best Zazzle shops for save the dates in 2026

Four independent Zazzle designers for save the dates, picked from 300 Popular designs: best overall, script over a photo, QR code and minimalist, with prices.

The short answer

For Zazzle save the dates, Sycamore & Blossom is the best overall, iTemplet does the best script over a photo, Customize My Wedding the best QR code designs and Mint Paper the cleanest minimalist cards. Most busy designers list a card at $2.76. A postcard costs less and needs no envelope.

The format moves the price. The designer barely does

Most of the busy designers in Zazzle's save the dates list a flat card at $2.76. Sycamore & Blossom lists 18 of its 19 popular designs at exactly that, and iTemplet ten of its fourteen. The cheapest busy shop, Mint Paper, starts at $2.25.

What you send matters more than who designed it. Postcards list at $1.45 to $1.84, magnetic save the dates at $3.65 to $3.80, foil cards at up to $3.65.

Then the sale changes the sums. On 27 October Zazzle took 40 percent off save the date cards and only 15 percent off postcards and magnets, so a $2.76 card came to $1.66 and a $1.56 postcard to $1.33.

Thirty-three cents.

At list price, 120 cards cost $144 more than 120 postcards. In that sale the gap was $39.60. A card also needs an envelope and a postcard does not: blank white envelopes are free, but addressed ones with Zazzle's free guest addressing are $0.40 each, which puts $48 back on 120 cards.

So decide the format first, then the designer.

How we picked from 300 Popular save the dates

We took the first 300 products in Zazzle's save the dates category in its Popular order on 27 October and read the store from every product page. They came from 105 shops. The busiest holds 19 of them, and the order in the middle shifts between page loads, so read the counts as a ranking of presence rather than an exact share.

Presence is our stand-in for sales, because Zazzle publishes no rating for a shop, and we checked it against each designer's tier in Zazzle's creator programme. Three stores showed only Zazzle's own maker profiles and no designer, so they came out; none would have reached the top four. We compared published ranges and prices and did not order save the dates. Zazzle prints every card, so paper and print are the same whichever designer you pick. Our general method is on how we rate.

Best overall: Sycamore & Blossom

Best overall: Sycamore & Blossom, because it holds more of Zazzle's popular save the dates than any other designer, by a wide margin, at one price.

It had 19 of the first 300 Popular slots, five more than the next shop and nearly twice most of the rest. All 19 are flat save the date cards and 18 list at $2.76. The style is modern and restrained: matte black with white type, black and ivory, monograms, photo collages, an arch photo frame, and a few wildflower designs for spring and summer weddings.

The shop is run from New Zealand and also sells invitations and stationery. Zazzle prints and ships.

Its popular designs are all cards. For a postcard, look at Goat Tree Designs or LovelyWOW under Also considered.

Best script over a photo: iTemplet

Best script over a photo: iTemplet, because its popular designs write the names in calligraphy straight across the couple's photograph, and the only vellum overlay in our count came from it.

The London shop had 14 Popular slots, second only to Sycamore & Blossom. Ten of its designs list at $2.76 and two at $2.26, one of them sold as a budget design. Beyond the script overlays there is a double-sided full photo design and a classic photo collage.

The vellum overlay is a translucent printed sheet that sits over the card, at $2.15 each with a minimum order of ten. It is the one way here to make a photo save the date feel like stationery.

Every design leans on the picture, so it needs a good one. Without a photo you like, pick another shop.

Best with a QR code: Customize My Wedding

Best with a QR code: Customize My Wedding, because four of its eleven popular designs carry a QR code for the wedding website, and those designs come as cards, postcards, a magnet and foil.

Customize My Wedding save the dates on Zazzle: couple photos on cream cards, most in black and white, one with Save the Date in script over a city street at night

The store, run by Christine Kovacs in New Jersey under the name Customize_My_Wedding, held the very first Popular slot. Its cards list at $2.26 to $2.76 and its postcards at $1.56 to $1.62. It also has a magnetic save the date at $3.65 and a two-photo rose gold foil card at $3.15.

A QR code lets the card stay short and sends guests to the details, which will change before the wedding while the card will not. Scan it on the printed proof, not only on the screen.

Best minimalist: Mint Paper

Best minimalist: Mint Paper, because its save the dates are the plainest and the cheapest among the busy shops, and it is the minimalist pick in our wedding invitation shops, so the two can match.

The store runs at the address "cardsbyfidem" and holds the Platinum tier, one below the top. Its designer, Julia An, works from Tbilisi in Georgia. It had 10 Popular slots. Its save the date cards list at $2.25 to $2.36, ivory and white with script names over a photo, an arch frame and a sage and blue classic. Flat card versions of its designs list at $2.96 to $3.06, an acrylic save the date at $3.15 and a grey postcard at $1.76.

Lea Delaveris Design, in Ohio, had 8 slots and the most magnets and foil among them: magnetic save the dates at $3.80 and foil at $3.35.

Order one, and settle the envelopes first

Zazzle lets you buy a single save the date. The quantity starts at one for cards, postcards and magnets alike, so order one and check the photo crop, the date and both names before you order for everyone.

That proof matters because of how returns work. Zazzle's standard promise covers its own printing faults, not a misspelt name or a wrong date that you typed into the template. Only the paid Worry-Free option covers a change of mind, and Zazzle does not publish its price. Our Zazzle review covers the return rules in full.

Decide on envelopes before you upload a guest list. Cards and magnets offer none, blank white or addressed with guest addressing. Postcards offer no envelope at all. And the 40 percent off is measured against Zazzle's Comp. value, which its own policy defines as prices on other websites; the review explains why we ignore the label.
