Start here, because it decides whether the rest matters to you. Society6's help centre, updated in October 2026, says: "At this time, we're not offering international shipping, including to Canada and Mexico, due to rising costs and tax complexities."
Society6 is an artist marketplace for wall art, bedding, bath and home decor, plus phone cases, and a good one. But of the six marketplaces in our comparison, it is the only one that will not send a parcel outside the United States at all.
It scores 6.1 under how we rate, the lowest of the six, and it carries our only verdict C in this category. The verdict is about access rather than arithmetic: for most readers of this page, it is a shop they cannot use.
Returns, minus $7.95
Inside the US the terms are reasonable. You can request a return within 30 days of delivery for an unused item in its original condition, and the refund goes back to your original payment method, which is cash rather than a voucher. A $7.95 return shipping fee is deducted for a standard return, and the original shipping is not refunded. There are no exchanges: return the item and order again.
Damaged, wrong or not-as-described items go through the Returns Center, where Society6 says it will "make it right". Furniture, eGift cards, orders of 20 or more items and wholesale orders are final sale.
Shipping Protection is an optional paid add-on at checkout. If you buy it, a lost or damaged parcel is claimed from the protection provider, not from Society6.
Prices and shipping
Society6 runs regular category sales: on 28 October, 30 percent off wall art, bedding and bath, ending that day, with an art print at $21 instead of $30. Standard shipping is charged on the subtotal before discounts, $7.99 for an order up to $30 and rising in steps, with surcharges for Alaska, Hawaii and oversized items. Production takes 2 to 4 business days and standard delivery 5 to 10.
You cannot customise anything. Society6 says the designs "cannot be altered" and the products "cannot be modified".
Who should buy it
Buy from Society6 if you live in the United States and want an artist's print or home textile with a refund to your card if it does not suit the room.
Everywhere else, Redbubble covers much of the same wall art and prints it in your region, and Threadless ships artist prints worldwide with a 60-day guarantee.
